Apparently you've not been paying attention to McNerney's voting record.
America is in a battle of Democrats vs. the U.S. Constitution and McNerney is among the most prominent voters against our Constitution.
But the Pleasanton Weekly continues to write puff pieces about McNerney and does not scratch the surface to probe his opinion on any controversial issue. They call their puff pieces "journalism." I call it a "leftist echo chamber."

Not only is Brandon a very hard working and deserving young man but his mom Lynn is one of the best 5th grade teachers in town. Both of my children have been fortunate enough to have her over the years. She has had Brandon and other local athletes come into her classroom each year to talk to her class about the importance of staying focused on academics while enjoying extra curricular activities. Each year the families in her class have felt like they were part of his magical journey playing for UCLA, the USA team, the San Jose Giants and now the SF Giants.
it's too bad the Pleasanton Weekly isn't really in tune to what the citizens of Pleasanton really want to read about.
Congratulations to Brandon for working hard and making your childhood dream come true! Also to mom Lynn for allowing all of your students and their families to be part of his journey! And that is what this community is all about!
Congratulations to Brandon for working hard to make his dreams come true and to Lynn Crawford for allowing all of us to share in your journey!

Yep, I bet Brandon must be anti-McNerney. That, and an ability to hit a baseball, is far more important than someone's kid being accepted into grad school at the Univ. of Chicago. Shows real Pleasanton community values at work.
