Senior Cut Day
Schools & Kids, posted by Roseann Edge, a member of the Amador Valley High School community, on May 20, 2011 at 9:55 am

Senior parenst should have received a call from Jim Hansen, Amador Principal , last night asking that Senior parents do not allow their senior to cut on Monday. Traditionally, they want take off the Monday after Senior Ball and Senior Breakfast. He explained that he school loses about $50 for each kid that cuts. I urge parents to discuss with kids and convince them to go to school on Monday. I talked with my son this morning and at first he was adamant about cutting, but I could see him wavering when I mentioned that Mr. Hansen was asking them personally. If parents unite in this, I think we can make this Senior Class do the right thing.
