President of Tri-Valley University Arrested in Pleasanton
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Joe, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on May 2, 2011 at 7:44 pm

Susan Su, who leased property from the Pleasanton Unified School District [negotiated and signed by John Casey and Luz Cazares in September 2009] to run Tri-Valley University, was arrested this morning in Pleasanton.

A Federal Grand Jury has indicted Ms. Su, the president of Tri-Valley University, on a 33 count indictment including money laundering, conspiracy to commit visa fraud, wire fraud, harboring aliens, etc.

Prior to being located at PUSD headquarters at the corner of First Street and Bernal, Tri-Valley University operated at 4455 Stoneridge Drive. Federal prosecutors indicate it was a "sham" university.

Tri-Valley University was never accredited and had no California license to operate in the State of California by either BPPE or BPPVE.
