If you think there is no where left to trim, then vote as you see fit. However, you might want to spend a little time looking at the total compensation packages of the district employees first. They can be found here: Web Link=

Pretty good pay for a nine month job, eh?

Resident's 'link', as usual, has nothing to do with Measure E. The only thing the 'link' shows is Resident's disconnectedness from reality.

To view the district salary information in the link have to select "Alameda County", "School Districts", and "Pleasanton Unified".

By the way, this is 2010 information. 2011 will be higher.

Those who think the teacher's job is not worth what they are paid, has never been inside a classroom in the last decade.

God bless them all for what they are doing, and the situations they must handle daily.

Our family is proud of the job our teachers have been doing. It is very much a thankless task, and we appreciate the excellent job the schools have done with our children. We have already submitted our enthusiastic YES on E votes.

Three NO votes here.

The district needs to learn to operate within its means.

Talking to most, not all, of the people that run the district one gets the feeling of arrogance rather than listening.

The same arrogance that permeates the company the district hired to advise them on how to pass this tax:

BY THE WAY, LOOK to see what other communities in the state are dealing with, and their findings with the "consultants". PLEASE PLEASE Read and see how the consultants (TBWB) have their fingers AND interests in the elections!! They DONT care about the kids. Just the money! FOLLOW THE LINK

If you read my previous post about CUSD, the Claremont Unified School District, that hired the same consultants as our own PUSD...then read this about "language" in their Measure CL. Read all the way to the bottom. Communities up and down the state are being deceived.

Do NOT fall for the money grab!! NO, NO, NO on E

psssst. Pass the word! Steven has revealed a vast conspiracy! We're all being deceived! But not the small-minded ones who are attracted to conspiracy theories! They're too smart to be bamboozled by the elitists who educate our children. Steven, Steven, Steven, what a laugh a minute you are!

Posted by True TP, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on Apr 27, 2011 at 2:50 pm

Yes Steven, it is a conspiracy. Sadly, people will believe it, just like they believe the birth certificate "produced" by the president today is isn't a phony. It is the same issue pretty much.
