Vote on what? Schools & Kids, posted by Start Afresh, a resident of the Country Fair neighborhood, on Mar 25, 2011 at 2:42 pm
The Governor wants the voters to decide on tax extensions/increases. What a lame choice. He won't tell the voters what an all-cuts budget will contain. A vote should be about exactly what the extended taxes will pay for.
The same goes for PUSD. PUSD and the unions want voters to decide on a new tax. Again, a lame choice. PUSD and the unions won't tell the voters what next year's school programs and services will be. PUSD, APT and CSEA are prolonging the negotiations that will determine what next year will look like, and what Measure E funds will be used for.
NO on E while the Governor down to PUSD and local education unions string the voters along with lame tax (only) choices. Get real. Get honest. Get specific.
