Four promoted in Pleasanton Police Department

New Police Chief Michael Fraser announced the promotions of Sergeants Craig Eicher and Michael Elerick to the rank of lieutenant and Officers Joseph Leonardo and Leigh Ridgers to the rank of sergeant, effective Saturday.

A noble profession in public service and a reward for a job well done!! Congratulations to the promoted officers and thanks to the retired officers who served the community with distinction.

Why am I commenting on a story from Feb. 2007?? Didn't we just have 2 Sergeants retire this month too??

The sentiment is real... the timing stinks!
