Crimes & Incidents, posted by Editor, Pleasanton Weekly Online, on Mar 3, 2011 at 10:13 pm

Be on the lookout for an escaped prisoner. In the interest of the escapee's privacy rights, we aren't going to print a picture. Just call 911 if you see anyone who looks suspicious.

What a crock!

Perhaps the PW could revised this article. They state that:

+The police arrested all of them, and the three juveniles were released into the custody of adult family members. The three adults, including Ramirez, were booked into the Fremont City Jail before being transferred to the Santa Rita Jail, Veteran said.+

Yet they go on to describe the prisoner and his clothes/last whereabouts/etc. When the police arrested ALL of them, that should mean the prisoner Cesda/Ramirez as well.

"Cesda is described as a Hispanic man about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweat suit, Nelson said."

That certainly narrows it down.

They caught him. [This post was removed because it was only a story copied from another publication. If it had included discussion and referenced a link to the other publication, that would have been acceptable.)

So Cesada Ramirez is back in Santa Rita, but car theft charges have been dropped ! ? ? He was worried about being deported ! ! The BIG question, WHY hasn't he been deported ? ? ?

That, above, was not "removing my post." That was editing the link to sfgate.com out of my post.

Smart enough to get out of jail through an escape, but not smart enough to stay out of jail. What does that say about our American school system?

Observer,

Exactly! NO on E!!! Escaped prisoners are clearly not receiving the long-term-prison-escape curriculum schools should be providing them when they are young. By voting NO, you can send all kinds of mixed messages to the school board and their union thugs!
