The Tri Valley Babe Ruth All Star 14's beat Tallahassee, Florida 1-0 to earn the 2010 World Series Championship title. This makes Tri Valley the best 14 year old Babe Ruth team in the nation.

Congratulations to these boys. Even though it does not get the press that the 'Little League' world series garners, this is truly a great accomplishment.

Congratulations to the coaches and entire team for their tremendous effort and victory! But next time, just the facts please- We do not need a history lesson, and to compare a baseball game with men who laid down their lives for their beliefs in thier country, is a bit much.

This article was taken from a blog from one of the player's dads, therefor it has the personal touches that are only important to those actually participating.

It would have been nice if the PW had covered the story and written an article themselves. Not sure where these 2 pictures came from either, as they are most certainly not from the championship game.

How about naming all the boys on the team? They all contributed to get the team as far as it got, right? To keep repeating the same players' names over and over does the other players a disservice.
