With the jury in Los Angeles resuming deliberations tomorrow in the Johannes Mehserle trial, local agencies are making sure they're prepared for any civil unrest following the announcement of the verdict.

if you are protesting, don't disrespect the police, respect them...get in trouble with the law, be prepared to pay the consequences.

I highly doubt civil unrest will be coming anywhere near Dublin. That's pretty ridiculous. I also highly doubt anyone in Dublin and it's surrounding areas really gives a flying fudge about what happens in Oakland... EVER.

Which is pretty sad.

Wow...The major news media needs to announce we are all calling for calm. BART has its nerve, due to their pathetic management this would not have happen in the first place. Look at BARTs history..they lose funding due to Title VI, non of the minority sub-contractors get the work though their primary contrator. Last time I saw, there are alot of people of color that ride bart trains!

No matter what the verdict is the animals will be out rioting.

Let's just use this opportunity as a practice run for when the Raiders win the Super Bowl.

Now THAT will be one heck of a riot!

Carolina - I too seriously doubt there will be rioting in Dublin. But if there is a problem in Oakland (which you don't give a flying fudge about), it will affect BART, which people in Dublin and Pleasanton rely on.
