If you read the posts from months ago when Mahalo closed, the owner said he was only closed temporarily due to water damage. Right. He had to close because his caustic approach to customers drove all of us away.

Nonni's is a very popular bistro in Carmel. This should be a great addition to downtown. California cuisine with a European flair, or something like that.

Oh drats, & I was hoping for yet another day spa/hair salon/mani-pedi/fat sucking & Lipo injecting establishment downtown. Or maybe another nice big neon sign for the next "massage" parlor on 1st street.

Nonni's is a spinoff of Bistro 211 located at #211, The Crossroads in Carmel, thus the name. Very good food at reasonable prices. It should be a nice addition to downtown.

We don't want 'reasonable' prices downtown!! High prices keep the riff-raff out!!

Judging by what has gone in most recently, it will probably be a massage parlor or retailing dope gear. Or yet another bar that wants to play loud music and attract roudies to do vulgar things outside the joint.

Pleasanton doesn't sound bitter at all this time of month.
