Panthers NAMED 2008 USA Jr. National Cheeleading Champions
Sports, posted by Victoria, a member of the Pleasanton Middle School community, on Mar 4, 2008 at 7:32 pm

On Sunday, March 2, 2008, in the Hyperion Theatre at the California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, the Panthers earned the title of USA Jr. National Cheerleading Champions. There were 13 teams in the Large Junior Show Cheer Novice division. EVERYONE of the twenty-one girls on the squad have worked countless hours and weekends preparing for this event. Their hard work and dedication paid off on Sunday. The large group of family and friends erupted with cheers and whistles when the Panthers were named the Champions. Thomas Hart Middle School Huskies competed as well and earned 5th place. Harvest Park Patriots also competed but in the Large Junior Show Cheer Advanced division earlier that day. Harvest Park placed in the Junior Group Stunt division as well.

CONGRATS GIRLZ!! You are awesome! Your team work and focus put you at the top of your game! Of course, you couldn't do it without the dedication of your Coaches, too. (Congrats to Miss D. and Mrs. D. too) Hope to see some of you on the "A.V. DONS" squad next year!

Hey Jerelyn I am so proud of you and your "TEAM" for bringing home the USA National title. It has been a pleasure to coach you at the youth level. Good-luck in H.S. Coach "C"!!!
