Lights out for parts of Pleasanton last night (Tuesday)

Does anyone have an idea as to why all the lights in Archstone Hacienda apartments on Owens Drive were out from around 7:30 pm to Wednesday morning around 9:30 am? Red Robin & Walmart were running off generators..... This is a LONG time for them to be out (from my memory since living in here in Ptown since the 70's.

Can someone enlighten me as to what happened and if anyone else reading this had a problem and what their situation was like? Our fridge and freezer foods were fine, but just wanted to get input from others.
