Unemployment - Job Search etc.

Original post made by Help.., Downtown, on Aug 27, 2009

Yes Nummi is going down, along with another 50,000 related jobs here locally.

This is nuts! I might add that the unemployemtn has very little to do woth Obama and one can't just throw money into the air and create jobs.

I have been looking to replace my job. In looking at others resume's on line, I have notives a LOT of MBA and upper division education unemployed folks, seeking $3000.00 a month jobs and NOT landing those!

If you ask me, we're going to hit around 17% unemployment, if not more, here in CA.

Not to mention that forclosure filing were hel off for a whole quarter and now they are hitting the recorders office. We're going to have a LOT of forclosed homes, unlike anything we have seen yet.

But of course it all has to do with Obama, oh wait, Bush, no Obama.

Don't you know that the President determines whether the economy is good or bad. They get up every morning and the economy secretary comes in and asks "good or bad" and whatever the answers is is how the economy goes.

You would think at some point people would realize that the President has little contol over how the economy fluctuates. Can the President makes changes that will effect the economy? Of course, but not to the point of making a really bad economy great or a really great economy bad. Its cyclical and will continue to be so until the end of time unless there is some fundamental change in teh structure of our economy.
