Popi Lounge?
Restaurants, posted by Interested Patron, a resident of the Birdland neighborhood, on Aug 25, 2009 at 6:13 pm

I heard that the Popi Lounge is reopened and now called RJ's Popi Lounge. Has anyone been there to see the changes?

I like the happy hour, especially on Fridays. $3 for a bottle of beer, can't beat that.

What time is karaoke on Thursdays?

Karaoke starts at 9:30 pm every Thursday Night. They usually have drink specials as well.

Stan - Yes you can, $2 beers at more than one place in Livermore on Fridays. RJ's Poppi is pretty much the same place as before, crappy suburban bar in a shopping center that is constantly being watched by bored cops for drunks. It is what it is.

I wouldn't want my young daughter's there....some creepy looking guys, and before you ask "how do I know".....because I yanked her out of there one night! THUG's!

Total dive. That place may go under with most of the other businesses around them. A ton of open storefronts in that shopping center.
