You need to contact your senator too, not just McNearney. Contact the White House too, because Obama and Pelosi are out of control, and this cap and trade is just an example of their bad policies. Just wait until the healthcare stuff gets going, we need real leadership, and Obama is not providing it, he let me and many others down. His idea of change is not what I had in mind.

This is all you Republicans have got on McNerney? Fear mongering? Good luck supporting some Central Valley, Pombo-wannabe, Republican redneck that will lose to McNerney in the new election.

Excellent initial posting! Yes, WHERE is our PW outlining McNerney's position on two of the most important bills being proposed...

Cap and Tax (i.e. Trade) which will shut down at least 60% (probably higher) of all manufacturing companies in the US and eliminate nearly 4 million jobs over the next few years.

See reference: Web Link

PW Editor...we look forward to your "objective" article(s) which reveal our Representative Jerry McNerney's position why he voted in favor of this crippling piece of legislation!

JK,

The article you posted was from a partisan political pressure group. That isn't exactly objective.

Dear Not Objective...
I whole heartedly agree with you that my reference source was biased and partisan. My mistake. Yes, it is biased toward the side of our US Constitution...despicable as it may sound to someone like you -- today's Democrat -- who only has 3 main differences with conservatives.

The 3 main values you and the other Democrats ARE AGAINST are...

1. LIFE, (e.g you're pro abortion, euthanasia and depopulation)
2. LIBERTY, (you are in favor of big govt and control over our lives, and a weakened national defense)
3. The PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (against private property rights, individualism, and the pursuit of the American dream through hard work, innovation, and achievement)

Resident & jk = resident jack A$$!

The political right conservatives are just loosing it. Most all the right wing web sites and blogs, and there are PLENTY of them, clearly indicate that you all really believe the world is coming to and end, we are being stripped of out constitutional rights and that Obama is so out of control that we need to create a MASS movement of hatred and to IMPEACH him!

News Flash:

President Bush helped create the worst economic and political and human rights disaster we have seen in our lifetimes and NO we didn't go ballistic and call for mass hate rallies and IMPEACHEMENT! WE didn't have 100,000s of thousands of radical web sites including racist supremacists blurting out dooms day prophesy and promoting a civil war!

You CONSERVATIVE-RELIGIOUD-RIGHT WING-REPUBLICANS, not necessarily in that order, are really showing your true colors!

Obama won by a democratic vote process! he won the MAJORITY by a land slide. Americans were SICK of the Republican Ideals and actions. You really think the current attitude and all this doomsday prophecy hate is going to get your folks in the office in 4 years? Come pre,pre election time you a$$holes are going to wake up and say, oop's we better show some self control. If we come of like a radical nut job party, we will loose the election for sure.

GUESS what, you folks LOST already and that's when your party was still a tad sane!

You are feeding a frenzy that will only shoot down the hopes of your intended outcome, unless that is Civil War, which has been promoted within the Right Wing Groups!

News flash, you lost and you will continue to loose!

Cap & Tax has nothing to do with energy, just taxing it. I think it's one of those that McWeenie just votes with his team like the rest of them. The real killer is the " siting " of transmission lines....recently fought down here in our valley. I don't know if MxPelosi gave McWeenie special dispensation or not. We should know that vote. It's either for new taxing or for NO NEW transmission lines....all across the country. We need to see what MS Pelosi & he worked out.....would be a good story.
