Obama's Intentions You Ask? It's CRITICAL That You Read About the "CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY"- SCARY for ALL (Both Dems & Repubs)

Original post made by Jean, Downtown, on Jul 9, 2009

Obama's real intentions should scare all US citizens -- both Democrats and Republicans -- who care about this country.

Obama adheres to the Saul Alinksy "Rules for Radicals" method of politics, which teaches the dark art of destroying political adversaries. However, that test reveals only one front in the radical left's war against America. The Cloward-Piven Strategy is another method employed by the radical Left to create and manage crisis. This strategy explains Rahm Emanuel's ominous statement, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologist Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven.Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.

Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, "activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation..."

It is CRITICAL for you to understand the Cloward-Piven Strategy to inform yourself about Obama's real intentions. Here is a link or you can Google "Cloward-Piven Strategy."

Jean,
Get a grip! Using the Weekly for Radical Right Wing Propaganda is getting old! The site you linked to is about as right wing as it gets. I notices the titles in the archive on that site, and many are right wing conspiracy theory type articles. I will comment on the article, and what apparently you and other radicals believed to be true.

Let's ALL REMEMBER that Bush and Co. took a Country with a SURPLUS and put us into MAJOR DEBT! he was as un transparent as it gets. He controlled the CIA and LIED to get us into a mega trillion dollar, never ending war! The state of the economy and our national debt was through the roof as he left office. Bush did NOTHING except play war games without TAX DOLLARS! There is a poll that someone pointed out here on the Weekly, where the VASY MAJORITY of Americans feel we are less safe as a result of the INVASIONS in Afghanistan and Iraq AND believe that we have accomplished NOTHING being there indefinitely.

I find it so ironic that right wing radicals accuse Obama of ruining the Country, when BUSH already did that! Obama inherited a mess!
We all vote! We voted the House, the Senate and the President in. The majority used to be Republican and they failed miserable. Now the majority is Democratic. Let's wait 4 years and see what the history book say. Some of you act like it's a left wing strategy to purposely run the Country into the ground. Geez!

O.K. I have used enough bandwidth, so I will comment on the article later. Or perhaps WEEKLY IMPOSTER will? :(

As quoted in another topic area:

"Republicans let's not revise history. The two largest spending era's in US history (using both real and nominal measurements) were initiated using supply side economics - GW and GH respectively. All while shifting tax burdens from the upper down to the middle and upper middle classes."

This is straight from the Rush Limbaugh show this morning. I heard it myself. Felt like getting a few laughs by listening to right-wing talk radio today, and a listener called in with this information, which someone had told her at a tea party she had attended. Are you seeing the picture?
Obama didn't have to manufacture a national economic crisis - it was already there when he took office.

President Obama is hardly an idiot. He is highly intelligent and highly educated. Just because someone's economic philosophy differs from your own doesn't make them an idiot.

The Republican strategy was to tell us all to trust the free market and deregulate. Then when their rich investment banker friends get in trouble, they're happy to embrace $750 million welfare for the wealthiest Wall Street fat cats. So why does a capitalist like Bush/McCain/Palin say "We have to abandon the free market..."? Socialism for the wealthy? Destruction of the middle class?

Christopher,
I know who you were calling an idiot and who you were calling a moron. My point was that you seem to be very eager to throw around terms insulting people's intelligence.

And this: "He may speak well in front of a teleprompter and he may have a good education in community organizing paid for my (sic) us but his actions indicate he is an idiot. By the way, he is about 46 or so I believe so if true how does one go that long in life without ever having a job?"

There is not one bit of sense in that statement.

And THIS: "Oh come on not you also as you cannot read either. I was calling Obama and idiot and Jack a moron. I am done and must communication (sic) with more brain power than you obviously have. Bye bye"

You be careful with all that brain power, now...

With words in bold-face like SCARY and CRITICAL and CLOWARD, it's OBVIOUS that an INTELLIGENT person wrote this POST! Because intelligent people know that non-thinkers respond to shouting and SCARY words. If you respond to intelligent reasoning and analysis, pass this post by BEFORE YOUR BRAINS ARE SUCKED OUT OF YOUR HEAD!!

I think this country is getting closer to a civil war every day -- very sad. Our enemies the world-over are loving this national meltdown.

I agree with you. And people say that the folks in the middle east are so fractionated.

What ever happened to the good old days? The CIA and Bush REALLY messed thing up badly! He had the whole county SCARED silly for eight years! His fear tactics were the ONLY reason he got a second term, besides his Lawyers!

Good Grief!

Jon,

I agree that Bush messed up a lot of stuff. But blaming Bush is soooo 2008. The unfortunate reality is that Obama doesn't seem to have the faintest idea how to fix any of it. In fact, almost all of the steps he's taken or proposed so far, have exacerbated the financial situation and international hotspots.

Bailouts, raised taxes, wild spending, bloated federal programs... not a really well-thought out way to get out of a recession. Pullouts, capitulation, and international apologies... not a really well-thought out way to calm potentially violent dictators and countries.

So yeah, Bush was a disaster aside from slamming the door on international terrorists. One would hope Obama could surpass such a low target, but so far, he's dropped the ball.

"Bailouts, raised taxes, wild spending, bloated federal programs"

With the exception of raised taxes, that's the same as Bush.

Bush's Bailouts went mainly to the wealthy. Obama's are spread out a little more. Both pretty bad.

But you also left out misguided de-regulation. That's what really pushed the economy over the edge. Not all regulation written 80 years ago was bad. Defining credit default swaps as insurance and immune from "bucket shop" laws created the credit crisis. Thank Phil Gramm for that. But then Bill Clinton signed it into law, so maybe he is more to blame than Bush.

Love Palin,

You're a bore. Same old tired and exposed comments from you everytime. Anything novel to contribute or do you just love to see your perspective in print? You should stop watching MS-LSD, aka Obama's propaganda machine.

To "Got it"

So are you agreeing or disagreeing that Bush/Palin/McCain are socialists? Maybe you think TARP wasn't socialism? If so, in what way was TARP not socialism?

What does "exposed" comments mean.

What I agree with is that you post ridiculous arguments that have no basis in reality.

Typical strategy; when someone makes an argument in favor of the current admistration they are "drinking the koolaid," "Obamabots," watching "MSLSD"...

Let's Go -

Good, you got it now! Call it "typical" to try and blow off the point, but it doesn't change it - the current administration IS ridiculous and if you are remotely trying to defend any part of it, you're ridiculous and in need of serious retraining.

Got it,
I'm ridiculous? In need of "retraining?" Your comments are rude and only serve to further reduce both the validity of your arguments and the integrity of your position. You are the one trying to blow off the point.

I'm sorry, Let's Go, to offend you, but I didn't see a point in your post - any of them. You can demand a response and stomp your foot all you want but it doesn't mean there is one to give you. I guess you want me to lie to you just like the Left does. I won't.

How can you even defend your silly post? Don't liberals call Conservatives out for repeating Rush Limbaugh blindly and doing whatever Fox News says on a hourly basis?

It's pointless to defend my valid point being boiled down to that.

Afterall, that IS what YOU said.

Have a good time.

To "Got it",

I was asking about TARP and Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin supported it. That doesn't exactly say a lot for her credibility as a conservative. What is your opinion on TARP? Sarah Palin. Not just for me, there are plenty of other readers who may want to know.
