State, National, International, posted by Pablo, a resident of the Downtown neighborhood, on Jun 16, 2009 at 6:41 pm

President Obama told us that if the 787 billion stimulus passed unemployment could be contained below 8%. It already is over 9.4% and now he predicts it will go over 10% while many leading economists predict it will go to 12% - 13%.

Well I guess nobody should be surprised because the guy is not delivering on anything other than blaming everyone else and getting great print from his legions of disciples.

Michael, where were with your 'oh so smart' remarks when Bush was doing such a 'great job'. Give the guy a chance, it probably has to get a lot worse before it starts to get better. There is a big mess to sort out. It's sickening to see so many judgemental posts on here.

Audrey, hey hey now there girl. I was complaining loud and clear about President Bush and voted for President Obama but wish I had not at this point because I thought we were electing a leader not someone who continually campaigns and blames others for things which are now his job to improve. He has and is turning a recession into a disaster by his policies and no I will give him no more of a chance than I gave Bush until he starts doing the job and thus far I am not getting what I voted for.
