Don't throw 'em in the ditch.. you might need the ditch for cover.

These terrorists don't take prisoners.. they have no prison camps. They just behead the troops or contractors and leave the bodies hanging from bridges or tossed in the river.

If I've got a 16 man action team on a mission and I capture 10 enemy.. who watches them? Who takes them to the rear? Is there a rear? I've probably jumped in or been dropped by a chopper. If I send 4 troopers out with prisoners, I'm below minimum strength and all my people are at risk.

These are unconventional fighters.. they are not signatories to any Conventions, and shield themselves with women and children. We're gonna sit down and negotiate? We're in the mountains of Afghanistan and we're gonna say "Drop the weapons and put your hands up!" I don't think so.

They go to heaven for killing infidels.. I'm only suggesting we speed up the process. Have you heard the expression.. "Kill 'em all. Let God sort 'em out!"? Marine snipers just want to arrange the meeting.

If someone is running towards me with an AK-47, and hand-grenades or rocket propelled grenades, he's not 'accidentally' in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm throwin' 3 to center mass. Judge, jury and executioner? He'd do it to me in an instant!

These are people who will slit the throat of an airline cabin attendant.. fly airplanes into buildings.. strap bombs to their children.. detonate truck bombs in public areas.. and would slit your throat given the opportunity.

This is nasty business. War is nasty business. Man's inhumanity to man has existed since the first caveman noticed the cave next door had a pool, and better light. The Sioux at the Little Big Horn didn't take prisoners.. they took scalps. I'm not gonna give you a history lesson.. but, much of war is kill.. or, be killed. I'm not going to 'be killed'!

Sure, I get it that if he poses a threat you have to kill to keep from being killed. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about prisoners. The ones you take as prisoners. Are you saying US forces made a mistake by taking prisoners? Didn't we get a lot of good intel from them? What if we would have shot them on the spot?

Bye the way, do you have real combat command experience?

BTW- We invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, neither of which had anything to do with the Twin Towers.

I hear you saying that war is just a normal cost of freedom, like it's just fine and dandy.
