Original post made by MaryAnn, Downtown, on Jun 15, 2009

Excerpt from New Party publication (Courtesy New Zeal blog) JERUSALEM – Evidence has emerged that Sen. Barack Obama belonged to a socialist political party that sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda.

MaryAnne,

Thanks for this revalation! GET A GRIP! That same web sight also has this article:

"You don't have to be an Old Testament prophet to see what's going on all around us. A belligerent lower class demanding handouts. A rapidly diminishing middle class crippled by police state bureaucracy. An aloof, ruling elite that has introduced us to an emerging totalitarianism which seeks control over every aspect of our lives.

As the meltdown progresses, one of the first things to be affected will be our nation's food supply. Expect soaring prices along with moderate to severe shortages by spring. If you don't have the ability to grow your own food next year, your life may be in danger. Supply lines for food distribution in this country are about three days, meaning a dependence on "just in time" distribution systems, which will leave store shelves empty in the event of even the smallest crisis."

THE SKY IS FALLING!

And this:

Here's What You Should Do Right Now…
First, you need to have the peace of mind knowing that if things were to get scary, that you and your family could still eat. Listen: having enough non-hybrid seeds to plant an acre or two could be the difference between life and death. With our new "Survival Seed Bank," growing your own survival food becomes easy. Remember, our hand-picked seeds are not genetically modified in any way. You simply save some of your harvest seeds from year one and have more than enough to plant in year two. You'll never need to buy seeds again! You just can't do that with man-made hybrid seeds.

It's been very difficult to acquire high quality, open pollinated seeds lately. We've had a lot of our Food Storage Secrets' customers asking for a good source and we finally have seeds we feel comfortable offering folks whose lives may depend on exceptional germination rates.

Maryanne,

Start stockpiling weapons and seeds now, before its too late, freak!

And in the book store on that web site is this:

WHO IS BARACK OBAMA?

You will be shocked to learn what lies beneath the well-polished rhetoric of this slick orator. Obama speaks vaguely about "change," but as this book reveals, Obama's brand of change is a hostile attack on the Judeo-Christian values and freedoms most Americans hold dear.

This isn't "change you can believe in"—it is change designed to uproot American culture and replace it with the failed, secular, socialist policies of the past.

In "The Audacity of Deceit" you'll learn how Obama:

Blocked emergency medical aid for babies who survived abortion.

Plans to ban the use of firearms by lawabiding citizens—even for self-defense.

Was abandoned by his bigamist father and raised in a Muslim society—and
how this influences his values.

Would raise tax rates to a Hoover-like 60 percent.

Will transform the U.S. Treasury into the United Nations' ATM.

Wants fuel prices high and farmland taken out of production.

Will grant federal medical insurance to 12 million illegal aliens and increase
emergency room costs alone by $15.4 billion annually.

Would transfer child-rearing from parents to the federal government with his
secular "0 to 5" program.
You will also read exclusive polling results that reveal the 30 percent of Americans who pay no taxes, what they believe, and who they are planning to vote for.

His goal? Replace the Judeo-Christian values that gave birth to the "land of the free" with failed radical leftist beliefs.

This is the one book every American must read—before it's too late!

SO, Maryanne,

I guess he had the vast majority of the American citizens fooled, and you graciously have revealed this to the educated people of Pleasnton?

It's scary to think that Pleasanton, a high class, intelligent community, dispels hate and fear so readily. I can understand it if you're from Arkansas, Tennessee or Oklahoma, even Texas (poor souls). Hate is not a platform of intelligence. Making-up stories about people being from "strange places" is close to ignorance, the same type of ignorance we disdain in terrorists hate mongers. If you dislike Obama get a political group together, rally in the streets and vote your new guy in. It's a simple concept called DEMOCRACY.

Cathy Tellis,

Wow! reading the threads above I do not see any of which you are speaking and at the same time you are accusing others of scary, hate, fear, ignorance, etc. you proceed to accuse everyone in the states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas of being hateful and ignorant. You need to look in the mirror girl or at least read and reflect on what you write before you hit the submit button.

Bobby,

Well, I have a friend from Texas and she wants Texas to secede from America. She doesn't like the way things are going and gets very mad about it. You have to admit, people from the states I mentioned are a little on the "slow side" compared to people from Pleasanton. But, I don't mean that in a mean spirited way. I just feel that people should be more positive about their views. Incidentally, I do reflect a lot. I write poetry.

Cathy Tellis,

I believe people should be judged on their viewpoints, actions, and common sense and not by where they are from. I have travelled a lot and have been to all of the states and most countries and being from one place or another does not mean anything. There are plenty of stupid people in Pleasanton and this is proven by your writings.

SteveP is a registered user.

You have a friend in Texas that mentioned seceding from the union (no doubt in frustration with the direction of our country since January) and suddenly everyone in the Heartland is on the 'slow side'?

And you people wonder why the rest of the country perceives Californian as spacey, liberal elistists.........

We are spacey, liberal elitists and Darn Proud Of it!

We smooke dope, invent computers and the software to run them, then we spend the next twenty years on line complaining about how spacey and liberal we are.

LOL

You cannot prove anything from my writings because I keep them private (although I am planning to self-publish my poetry on-line this fall). But, I hope you are not insinuating that I am "stupid". I am not from Texas, my friend is. I was just telling everyone what she said. Besides, I won an honorable mention three years ago in a poetry contest. Bobby, please be positive. Here's my thought for you. Go outside and see the beautiful Pleasanton sunshine. Lose your anger. Write a poem. Remember: The real issue is whether Obama is a real American or a socialist. How can you become president if you're not an American? Stay on track.

Cathy,
The first definition of Socialism is "a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole".

Belief, or disbelief, in an economic theory does not make, or not make, someone a "real American". If you're a natural born citizen, or have adopted our country through immigration, naturalization and citizenship, you are an American. The only difference is that you can't hold the office of President or VP unless you're natural born.

I'd be real interested in hearing how you define a "real American".
