Don't tell anyone you've seen the following because it may be too controversial. You'll be mocked by liberals wherever you go if you even bring up this subject and especially if you talk positively about it. It is something that our current Obama administration doesn't want you to know about...especially in detail.
So, before it is gone altogether...which is occurring rapidly as we speak, I thought you might want a glimpse of it. Also, keep in mind that you may not be "cool" if you talk about it much either.
Just yesterday, Hugo Chavez, the socialist President of Venezuela said that if he is not careful, that Obama may actually be more of a leftist than both Castro he (Chavez) is. So Chavez is in a way congratulating Obama for not following the subject you'll see in the link below.
Again...this is rarely taught anymore in the US, except as a target for criticism, like Obama has been and is currently doing.
Here is the link below...and please forget that you saw it here. Again, say goodbye because it may be gone soon, unfortunately. (approx. 15-30 minutes long)

Presidents throughout history have had many names- The Great Orator, The Great Emancipator, The Great Compromiser, The Great Whatever. Obama, well this latest trip to the Middle East shows that he will go down in history as THE GREAT BUTT KISSER.

Of course California is a liberal/left leaning state. You have the major population centers of the general LA area where the entertainment & porn industry still rule. You've got a good deal of minor industry plus the port of Long Beach & San Diego & finally around 300,000 illegal immigrants.
Up North (geographically Central California) we've got...well, San Franfreakshow. For all their green haired, nipple ring wearing, assless chaps, hippie-cum-LGBT progressive mentality it's sadly the last area of higher culture, food & history in Nor. Cal.
You separate those major population centers from the rest of he state & we actually start to look like (well vote at least) like any of the square, flyover "red states" A quick look at how Prop 8 was voted on would give you that same look.
Try going up to Modoc, Shasta or the Sonora areas (gunrack California) with an Obama sticker on your car. I hope you have good insurance

History will tell whether any of you are right or wrong. Most of everyone likes a popular guy (typical American) and wants to be associated with a winner. That's the fad now. Wait a few years and then this blog again. If you still agree with what you wrote here, then I will conceded you are right.
I am a moderate. I don't like some things Obama says or wants but I also like some things he wants or says. Personally, I believe he hit the nail on the head when he gave the speech in Egypt. I think everyone needs to bury the hatchet and start from fresh. Are both sides ready to do that?

California has NOT always been a liberal state. In fact during the 20's there was a great push toward socialism. I think we may now be headed down that path.
My opinion, Liberals are too far to the left, Conservatives are too far to the right. I've had it with the extremism from both parties and became an Independent. I'd rather tevaluate every issue based on it's own merit than align myself with an opinion generated by "groupthink."

Thank you for the reminder of what our freedom fighters fought for and our need to look at the Constitution, again. Power corrupts.... We must be mindful of our government and what its purpose really is.

Ignorance + Too much free time + Fearful white people + Bigotry + So called Christians = Way to many Pleasantonians. I really do feel sorry for your children, and hate that I have to share the sidewalks and roads with you people.

2ME4U, hmmmmmmmmm never been to the south but rather raised in Oakland and if you saw me you would not describe me as having a milk face in the crowd. Since now you know I am an african american I hope in the future you will think before imposing your stereotypes on people who happen to disagree with you. You have some major league issues.

As a life-long Democrat, I would have to say that my party has really blown it in one area: assuming everyone that is white is Republican and assuming everyone of color is a Democrat. I'm half Chinese and Swedish, with a little bit of English and American Indian. With that racial background, where would I fit best by your definition?
We're not party identified because of our enlightenment, devotion to an interest, fear of others or because of religious beliefs.
We are identified with a political party because of fidelity to the parties fundemental ideals. This is why after my entire life believing in it, I am now leaving the Democrat party. They no longer stand for what I believe in. That doesn't make me a Republican, but it might.
This Democrat is tired of looking at a bunch of little self-interested smaller groups banding together regardless of whether they have legitimate reasons to support one another just to make the party bigger. I am devestated at the tone the Democrats treat those outside their party with. The language, the cheap shots. That is not the party of JFK any longer. I work hard and want to contribute to our country out of gratitude not out of guilt and certainly not because I think I am superior in my ideas and other people should do what I think is more important. The conservatives have some great ideas. Some I agree with and always have because those values are American values. I'm a fiscal conservative and just because something comes along attached to the Democrat party does not mean it shouldn't be questioned.
I'm tired of my party going along with any sub-culture group that wants to leach off of America. It isn't the party way I grew up with in this country and I won't continue to vote for it on any side of the political aisle.

It's not about someones race, I wish everyone believed that. It's about being told to leave Pleasanton because I don't bash the Prez. "...why don't you go down to Cuba or see Hugo your good buddy?" was directed at me for being tired of all the bashing. My family was in Pleasanton when California was still part of Mexico. We have streets named after us here, do you? I'm supposed to leave? The demographics speak for themselves here. I don't care what someones race or gender is individually. The majority is not minorities. Go ahead do you sh*t talking with anonimity, and no power to do anything but spew the same garbage over and over on message boards. Have at it.

You forgot to ask if he is lighter or darker than a paper bag. Doesn't matter what anyone is, it's their beliefs and ability to turn them into actions. Those that have come up with almost everything against them, risen up to the highest level, stayed happily married, and become a historical figure stand up. If I could see you sitting on your probably big rear end I'd see that you are indeed sitting.

If your from Oakland you must be black, all you have to say is 'I'm from Oakland.' right? Dr. B is from Oakland so he must be black too. Who would have thought that? Also I'm from Alaska so I'm an Eskimo. Or Mars or whatever I type. I, you, he, and she can say anything from our computer, doesn't make it so. Don't believe anything anyone says about themselves on a CPU. There are tons of hot chicks on message boards and IM services that want to do 'sexy chat', but they are neither hot nor chicks. I also don't live in Mission Park.

And Obama's deliberate destruction of the private sector continues. Shutting down all offshore drilling because of this spill is just Obama's excuse to further damage our economy, already made extremely fragile by Obama.
The Obama Administration is like a 50-pound tick on a 10-pound dog. Not much hope for the dog (i.e. Americans and the U.S. economy)...unless we vote these ticks out.
