There have been rocks, BBs, something being thrown/shot at cars along this stretch. I hope this wasn't a casualty from a window being shattered and that the CHPs will look at it closely.

Broken Glass,

I have never heard that about that stretch of 680 south. Are we talking about Andrade Road area?

It was on the news yesterday morning. The reporter said ten cars had been hit and reported broken glass over a period of several days. When I talked to CHPs about my car being hit by a rock (quite visible in the driver's side windshield), the officer indicated they thought there were kids in the area (I was on Pleasanton Sunol Rd. which runs along and very close to 680) possibly with sling shots. My glass did not break, but it was very alarming. I figured stopping to look for someone would only make me a target. I could be linking A to Z with nothing in the middle, but it does make me wonder.

Man you would think these kids know better and their parents might keep them on a shorter leash.

Michael, nice thought. Have you checked out this town lately? The parents not only let their kids run without leashes at all but they are the ones who provide the booze and drugs. Did you read about the wonderful parents in Ruby Hill who not only provided the goods for several hundred of their kid's closest friends -- they charged an admission fee to the party? Yeah, the P-town parents really care what their kids ard doing. Not.
