Do you think step parents should be celebrated the same day as bio parents or should step parents have a separate day?

As a step mother, I feel cheated on Mother's day because others in my life think Mother's Day should only be for bio moms and that Step-parent should have their own day..

Stepparents deserve respect if they earn it. I know some stepparents who don't treat their stepchildren as well as their biological children and, therefore, don't deserve that respect. However, if the stepmother is caring and has an active role in raising, disciplining, supporting (financially and otherwise), and celebrating successes with her stepchild(ren), then they should be honored on Mothers Day.
