San Ramon votes on parcel tax today

Today is the last day for San Ramon voters to get their mail ballots in before counting begins. They face a decision about whether to raise their parcel tax amount and extend its term.

Also counting ballots tonight.... Cupertino Union and Moreland School Districts, in Santa Clara county.

Too bad PUSD didn't save money and put Measure G on a mail-in ballot.

Wow, I didn't expect the results of those elections to be available so quickly! San Ramon, Cupertino, and Moreland all passed their parcel taxes.

San Ramon had a very effective argument saying:
"we need this parcel tax because even with it Pleasanton gets A LOT more money than we do!"
