'The Pulse' Gets New Look, Web Address
"The Pulse" - PAMF's online home for Internet educational offerings - has a new Web address and a fresh look designed to make finding and navigating the site easier for anyone looking for podcasts, videos and articles on health and lifestyle topics. The new site also includes articles from PAMF's publications and e-newsletters, health education classes and lectures, more interactive features and a box where visitors can leave comments. Save the Date: Hearing Health Fair in May
On May 27, the Center for Hearing Health at PAMF's Palo Alto Center will host its seventh annual Hearing Health Fair. The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Hearst Center for Health Education on the third floor of the Jamplis Building on the Palo Alto campus. The fair will feature presentations by PAMF audiologists and physicians about hearing loss and treatment options, as well as information and demonstrations from hearing device manufacturers and other vendors on the latest products and services for individuals with hearing loss. A Conversation With Hal Luft: Prescription for Health Care Reform

Proposals to reform the health care system typically focus on either increasing private insurance or expanding government-sponsored plans. Hal Luft, Ph.D., director of the PAMF Research Institute, will discuss his proposal for reform of the health care system as described in his new book, "Total Cure: The Antidote to the Health Care Crisis."
