Vallejo CTA Member tells Superintendent to take a 12% pay cut

In an open letter to Vallejo Superintendent Mary Bull,

Deanna Dunn, the Special Ed Director of the Vallejo Education Association stated she would not agree to approving a 5% reduction for VEA or CSEA union members.

Instead Ms. Dunn suggested that Ms. Bull take a 12% pay cut, and all administrators, directors, assistant directors and assistant superintendents take a 7-10% pay cut.

In her letter, Ms. Dunn said that according to the State Auditor, the Vallejo School District debt was $4 million, not the $8-11 million sated by Ms. Bull.
