Wow Ted! I don't even know where to start. That was quite a mouthful of baloney! Are you sure you're in the same America everyone else is?

"President Bush immediately launched a strong counter offensive which destroyed the training camps and established a fledgling democracy. He established a vigorous national security program which has kept us safe for six years despite the left's attempts to undermine it."

President Bush, he's our hero! (that's sarcasm, btw). I'm still laughing here!!!

P.S. Why are your comments in bold? Is the Weekly some how endorsing this nonsense?

It was bold because the coding was wrong, but it is now fixed. The Pleasanton Weekly doesn't endorse letters, they are the opinion of the writer.

I figured it was something like that. I know newspapers don't generally endorse LTTEs. Thanks.

He just seemed to judge everyone else's answers because they were not "right" for him. For a kid in school, ya it does mean another day stay at home. Kids shouldn't be working yet, so why do they have to be fully empathetic with Labor Day? And as for the lady who's daughter was born on that day, I think that speaks for itself. Giving birth is, well, labor, and it was a wonderful day for her- memories.

It seems that you are the one on another planet.

Were the Afghanistan trainig camps that were established while Clinton was President a myth? Are bin Laden and the 9/11 attacks a myth? How about our invasion of Afghanistan and the Kazai government? Also myths?

Hey Ted, sounds like you listen to Rush "Pain Pills" Limbaugh a little too much. Bush is a joke and so is your letter.

The big joke is extreme left, which can't face facts.

Clinton dallied while bin Laden trained terrorists to unleash 9/11. Gore was the best reason for not impeaching Clinton and Kerry is a fraud.

Try to do better this time.

Oh geez, not another degenerate left vs. right conversation. Yadda yadda, Clinton did this, Bush did that Cheney did this, Gore did that. You all sound like broken records. Doesn't anyone remember the lessons from the book 1984? You're so busy having your hate and fear directed at a fake enemy (ie. the "left" or the "right") by the media and government that you allow yourselves to become enslaved by those who would control you.

The only 'myth' I can think of currently is the one where GWB is a good president. Talk about grand delusions!

I could give you a run down as to why but you've clearly drank the kool-aid so why bother?

Don't miss out on the discussion!
