A shame! Vassalo has ties into the Kenitzer family since well before high school. Vassalo was a graduae from Foothill High in 1997. I truly hope that Kenitzer is found to be a victim as this is way out of character- but not out of character for Vassalo. I can't fathom how or why someone would have trusted Vassalo with sums of money that large. Not a bright and shining day for Pleasanton- not the kind of news story we like to be known for! We are better than this Anthony!

For years certain local persons have been sitting around campfires and dinner tables hoping aloud that AV's windfalls weren't more of his scheming ways. Five years ago is when Mr. K became involved, after AV lost his friends and family's money, and Mr. K thought his involvement might achieve greater grip on the location and tracking of further monies. Regrettably, for the wonderful V and K families, AV's charm and pathology was, in the end, too great. Follow your gut, people. Giving a guy in his late twenties hard cash at the promise of 42% returns/year...? Fortunately for the V family, most of the sordid details will never see the light of public scrutiny. Pray for AVs family and ex-wife and two children, as well as for the wonderful K family.
