Amador Valley and Foothill High School - We the People
Schools & Kids, posted by Bob, a resident of the Pleasanton Meadows neighborhood, on Feb 5, 2009 at 8:55 pm

The California state semi-finals for the We the People constitutional debate was held Thursday in Sacramento. Only four teams advanced to Friday's final. The four schools advancing were Arcadia (Arcadia), Amador Valley (Pleasanton), Centennial (Bakersfield), and Foothill (Pleasanton) High Schools. The winner of the finals on Friday will advance to the national competition in Washington, DC.

Good luck to both Pleasanton High School teams in the finals.

I think it is terrific and wonder if it is Unprecedented that two high schools from the same community would end up in the State Finals. Congratulations to both schools. GOOD LUCK to both!!!

Afterthought...maybe we should asked them to find solutions to the school budget crisis and the Stoneridge Extension. The "Adults"?? seem best at name-calling from what I am reading in article comment sections.
