It is sad to see the restaurant close as Downtown Pleasanton really does not have many places for it's community members to gather. I really looked forward to the "Blues in the Patio" on Thursday evenings there as well as their Theme Dinners. Our community seems to be at a loss to keep our downtown together. Help! One would think that the community as a whole is better off than most, yet our Downtown is Starting to look Very Glum.... Our City Officials need to make better choices where the money goes. Our downtown is small when you compare it to the surrounding cities, yet it is sinking in it appearance with empty storefronts.

Given the present economy, how come you are so surprised that there are so many empty storefronts? Are you nuts or what?
