Bright streaking light Tuesday evening - meteorite?

Hmmm - I was driving home and looking east this evening a little before 7pm when a bright light moving quickly across the sky caught my eye. I thought maybe it was a shooting star, but then it flashed bright green. Did anyone else see this? I know this is the time of year for meteor showers, but this was brighter and bigger than any I've ever seen.

I'm off to Donostia for a few months so that I can ski ski ski...Hooray!

So happy I won't have to read any more ugly posts by Wondering, Beth or Annie!

I also plan to ski in Biarritz with the "in-crowd"! HOORAY!!!

I live in San Jose and I also saw the meteor, around 7pm last night - I've been trying to find more info and this is the only post I've found so far. Where I live I can't even see the stars because of all the streetlights and this was bigger and brighter than anything I've seen...

Wait a minute...tiny green men, about 2 1/2 inches tall have been spotted shopping at Wal Mart! Suppose it's the meteor people?
