6:30 pm Friday traffic on Main ??

Original post made by Wondering on Sep 10, 2013

I was trying to come from the Library North through town. Peters was at a standstill at 6:30pm tonight. Several cars, including myself cut over to Main. Instantly saw it was not moving either. Next block I quickly cut over to First & up Stanley. Was there an accident, or is it always like that the length of Peters and Main across the tracks??

I think it was just a case of multi-tasking and driving, it happens all the time

I've always been under the impression that a mosquito can't drive in a straight line.

Smart axxxx. Heads up to Sandy, who doesn't KNOW it ALL.....The library was OPEN when I left at 6:30. There were also classes. One class finished, and another was just starting !! FYI, Doors were open, people were coming and going!!! NOW, BACK on topic.....
Multi-tasking with mobile devices is ILLEGAL. Damn I wish people would get fined when their heads are down!! Every intersection in town is delayed, starting with the extra 5 seconds the #1 car wastes when the light changes, delays rippling through the line.
Tassano's city traffic models are worthless, as long as these SELFISH drivers are CLOGGING our streets.
To all those who complain about houses causing 'traffic'. I hope we never see you backing up traffic with YOUR ILLEGAL mobile usage!!
Intolerable ! Illegal !

hey wondering--you stated this was on Friday--the library closes at 5pm on Fridays. Trust me I know. Obviously you don't know the days of the weeks. chances are you were there on thursday and not Friday. Go ahead call the library and them please apologised to me for calling me a smart XXXX. I am just stating the facts.

chances are at 6:30 all library personal were long gone from the library on Friday. I would have called the police if the doors were open at that time. :)

Well, I'm glad this has been cleared up and that we all have a good idea of what happened.

Thanks to the good, kind-hearted people of our community (except for the diseased liberals) for correcting day, time of day, and grammar. I now feel intellectually nourished.
