Yup, the similar plants are the ones that they put into the soft tacos and pass off as lettuce! They spray it with a weed killer first. Just in case...duh...

The article DID state quite clearly "plants" for the first day, which is when these readers posted. Their comments regarding "plants" may have been silly, but they did provide some necessary proofreading service for the article.

Thanks, PJ. I can understand if Teacher was temporarily befuddled, but not her/his strong reaction, calling people morons. Sure, she/he came in after the fact, not realizing that this was yet another case of a typo/mis-statement on the part of the Weekly, but to lash out and call people morons before asking for clarification when you step into a situation mid-stream is really out of line.
