Henry Germain was back in court today, only to have his case continued again Dec. 16. The former Castlewood Country Club tennis director, who faces 16 charges of child molestation with six female victims, was last in court Oct. 22 when the case was continued.

It makes sense why his attorney would keep asking for this to be continued because he can stay out and she can continue to bill him for a lot of hours and use most of his money that should be going to raise his children....but WHY would the district attorney and the judge allow this to go on and on????? This sends a message to his victims: Don't bother reporting it because nothing will happen anyway. He will move away and find new victims and it will end up in another court in another city just like it happened in Southern California. Very disappointing!!!!

This happens in a lot of cases, them being continued. They will try to drag this on as long as possible in order to try to find a way to discredit the witnesses or hope they need to move on with their lives- because they are tired of the never ending process. I hope these witnesses stay strong and convict this prick.
Anyone who supports Henry, especially those who are married to an attorney, should be ashamed of themselves as they are horrible people who support child molestation.

What's your hurry?? Searching The Facts? How about the TRUTH?! Shouldn't take so long if you just tell the truth!
If you're innocent, wouldn't you speak up right away? And if you're guilty, you hide behind a bunch of excuses and 'fact-finding'. Please, he makes me sick!
The above link may help some understand why it is difficult to convict sex offenders of innocent children and vulnerable adults. It takes courage, time and lots of patience to protect kids.

Assuming that Pedophilia is a mental illness and the person cannot control who they are attracted to, why do they commit their crimes in secret and not out in front of others? They make the choice to not molest children in front of adults or law enforcement officers because they know it is horribly wrong. If they know it is wrong and are able to control their actions in public why don't they control their behavior when no one is looking? Can anyone answer this???

the reason a case is put over for plea is because once a defendant enters a plea, issues of statute of limitations must be addressed at that moment. there may be such issues. a demurrer has to be heard when a plea is entered. be patient

I think the man belongs in jail. With as many charges and as many victims that have come forward, he shouldn't be allowed to live amongst regular law abiding families and CHILDREN. He has returned to his previous residence where I believe there are numerous children. Maybe he knows he has nothing left to lose and will do something crazy. In my view, his not pleading, only adds to speculation that he is trying to cut some sort of deal or something. If you are innocent, you say so. Why should anyone's children be exposed to him when he can't see one of his own children without supervision. So they are protecting his child, but to hell with everyone else's children including those that don't know his history. Lock him up.
