The Bubbling Cauldron
Restaurants, posted by Mekagirl, a resident of the Vineyard Avenue neighborhood, on Nov 16, 2008 at 11:55 am

The Bubbling Cauldron is not a restaurant....yet! But its the next best thing!!! At the farmers Market in Livermore on Sundays there is a booth called the Bubbling Cauldron and they have the best homemade soups! They will also make a special order and deliver to your home.

All I can say is it is fabulous, fresh, and yum they all taste so good. Can't tell you my favorite...they are all good. Stop by on 2nd street for a taste and take a pint or quart home for later.

They are also at the Danville Farmers Market on Saturdays!

The Armadillo soup is by far the best. It is sweet and crunchy! If you're lucky you'll find a crunchy lucky bone! Is that cool or what? HOORAY!

The cute little ears are thrown in last and they are kind of rubbery but with just the right taste to walk away smacking your lips! It doesn't get any better...

We purchased soups from The Bubbling Cauldron last Sunday and today. The Mulligatawny is my husband's favorite, and the Sweet Potato with Roasted Cashews is my favorite, although, after tasting all of them, I'd have to rate them all very high.

I have placed my order for Sweet Potato for Thanksgiving dinner!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the market place last Sunday. We walked by and my husband loved her "Blue Witches Hat" and had to take a closer look. She offered samples and we sampled two of them. Took two quarts home and loved both of them. I was disappointed as I wanted to return this last Sunday but had company and could not go. Will definitely go next week. My neighbor went this past week and she said she takes orders and will deliver...I am thinking like the one person who wrote in the forum...Thanksgiving!

I would give her 5 stars...5 being the highest!

My wife and I saw it this last weekend. We didn't stop but a lot of people were in front of it. Sounds like good soup is a bubbling. Will definitely stop next time!

thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Hey Cholo...I bet if the Bubbling Cauldron did have Armadillo soup it would be fantastic!

...just imagine how yummy it would taste if they only had the sense to add a touch of dark chocolate to the broth! HOORAY!

No radish in this soup...
