We truly appreciate your printing our letter of October 14 (printed November 14, 2008). However, while I understand the occasional need to "edit" for disparaging remarks, slander, etc., I am dismayed that you found it necessary to "snip" off our kudos to the Pleasanton Hotel, one of our town's longest standing and most respected establishments, and the top shelf, professional and unmatched manner in which they hosted the crown jewel event of our Reunion Weekend.

Here's hoping it won't take another month to put a proper band-aid on what I am certain was an unintentional boo-boo.
