Activists begin 30-mile march to end nuclear war

About a dozen anti-nuclear weapons activists began a 30-mile march from Walnut Creek to Livermore Wednesday morning against nuclear weapons and war. The group will walk to the entrance of the Livermore Nuclear Weapons Lab at 6:45 a.m. on the morning of Good Friday for an annual Mass and rally.

Perhaps you guys should board a plane and fly to Iran and march in protest so the US would not have to maintain its own arsenal and protect its citizens against rogue countries.

Or, counter protest to preserve the hundreds of jobs at the lab and the enormous influx of business created by the operation and it's employees. or, the numerous other beneficial projects ongoing at the lab, which somehow get over looked in the pacifists zeal to destroy that which they cannot understand.

Yes, let's continue to proliferate our nuclear capabilities because, after all, jobs depend upon it.

Oh yeah, and let's stop Iran by nuking it. That'll do the trick.

I agree with Einstein- Some people just don't get it.
Just like "fracking" will create jobs and boost economy? Let's continue to destroy the only planet we can live on, sooner or later we will live in domes <--if we are so fortunate.

Take care of the world we live in and stop wars. Future generations will not be so fortunate.
