Original post made on Mar 27, 2013

The special ed classroom at Foothill High School is having its annual spring plant sale today. Proceeds will support the school's special ed program. Drop into the student store between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28 between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. or visit the Foothill garden between 1:55 p.m. and 2:35 p.m. to purchase plants grown from seed by Foothill's special ed students as part of their science curriculum. You can also make an appointment or place an order to pick up later by contacting special ed teacher Gail Myers at gmyers@pleasantonusd.net. Plants available are squash, eggplant, peppers, cucumbers, herbs and many varieties of tomatoes and they're just $2 each. The garden is located between Foothill Road and the office on the corner closest to the staff parking area.

I bought a mix of herbs and vegetable plants from Gail's kids last year. They were much nicer than plants found in nurseries and the variety of plants, including heirloom varieties was excellent. Great prices, too!
