What was that about? Around Town, posted by Agree, a resident of the Ruby Hill neighborhood, on Feb 14, 2013 at 9:39 am
We also heard the jet noise and it was so amazingly loud that I really thought it was going to come down right behind our house! After it seemed like it might crash down the street, I ran outside and saw its red tailights in the sky at a very high elevation. The sound had not abated because it was flying so fast. Now, why would the Weekly restrict a discussion about this? It was obviously not a plane from the Livermore airport. This was a military jet. And there's no reason we should not be able to discuss it.

Imagine you're a parent in the Middle East who decides to throw a wedding party for his daughter and her newly betrothed. The entire family is there. Friends and relatives. Suddenly everyone looks up into the sky where a couple of drones are hovering over the event. Maybe puts things in perspective a bit? Or, no, probably not.

Al, is this a first hand account from your jihadist comrades? What a sad, sad story. Do the 'innocent' people in the wedding party have their RPG's handy or does this Middle Eastern country ban weapons of self defense?
