Pair arrested for using Contra Costa Times subscriber list to target empty homes

A pair of suspected burglars was arrested earlier this month after allegedly using a Contra Costa Times subscriber vacation list to target and burglarize at least one home in Walnut Creek, police said today.

Sounds like some folks have not learned. Do not put your newspaper or mail delivery on vacation hold. Have a friend or neighbor pick them up for you.
