The seminary program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a four-year religious education program for youth. In seminary, hundreds of thousands of students and their teachers meet, each weekday during the school year, to study the Holy Scriptures including: The Bible (Old Testament and New Testament), the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants. In the Pleasanton and Dublin area these classes are held each morning before school begins.
Currently there are over 390,000 seminary students in over 170 countries in the world. Seminary classes are starting, in various countries, in virtually every month of the year. All high school youth ages 14-18, whether members of the LDS faith or not, are invited to participate in this wonderful program.
Seniors recognized this year are Jessica Amos, Julia Amos, Amanda Arnold, Josie Beidleman, Brady Buchanan, McKenzie Cooper, Tyler Crane, Spencer Dobbs, Tyler Gilliland, Demitri Haddad, Monica Hernandez, Sophie Hudson, Aleece Hughes, Kalvin Koetting, Rachel Lanning, Connor Last, Michelle Liu, Matthew McMurdie, Braden Merrill, Graham Miller, Tyler Reedy, Tyler Reni, Audrey Rickenbacker, Michael Tank, Susanna Viazzo, and Catherine Woodwell. Brady Buchanan and Michelle Liu were recognized for achieving 100% attendance for all four years.
