Wente Vineyards celebrates National Chardonnay Day tomorrow

Livermore Valley's Wente Vineyards will celebrate National Chardonnay Day from 5:30-7:30 p.m tomorrow at the Cresta Blanca Event Center, 5050 Arroyo Road, Livermore.

Congratulations to the Went family and their generational impact on the production of excellent Chardonnay in California!

However, I don't think your facts are true in the title statement, "...nearly 80% of California Chardonnay grapes come from Wente vineyards." I think the correct statement is: "... nearly 80% o California Chardonnay grapes are grown on rootstock clonal selection recognized as "the Wente clone."
