I bike to work frequently, and did so today for Bike to Work Day. I got to the East Dub/Pls BART station around 8 AM and they were already out of t-shirts. Are you kidding?? This event was billed as the largest event in California encouraging bike commuting! I commend the organizers for encouraging commuters to get out of their cars, but wow, how could they have so poorly estimated the number of cyclists who would pass through? They had more than enough tote bags, though, which while nice, were not so easy to ride with. Not sure I will do this event next year, but I will keep riding to work.
