Danville Weekly post Tri-Valley University fraud conviction story (which is mysteriously absent on Pleasanton Weekly site)

Original post made by Sing Like a Canary on Mar 26, 2014

Embarcadero Media is the company controlling the Pleasanton Weekly and Danville Weekly. The Danville Weekly on its Danville website has published the story on its home page here about the Tri-Valley fraud conviction Web Link

Now that the jury has convicted her on all counts, sentencing is set for June 20. I'm sure in that time to get a reduced sentence, Su will be spilling the beans to all the prosecutors detailing how in the world she was able to make deals in order to open up multiple locations in Pleasanton In order to enroll 1,760 so-called students, circumventing practically all local, state and federal laws imaginable.

The timeline makes no sense.

5/5/2008 Email w/ Su offering $1,000 to anyone willing to provide her articulation agreements (Counts Fourteen and Fifteen)
10/14/2008 I-17 Signed Petition claiming 4455 Stoneridge is a university
10/15/2008 DHS site visit 4455 Stoneridge (Coy Wells) - it's a university
12/10/2008 Plng Comm hearing 4455 Stoneridge - it's a tutoring operation and two of them visited the place with someone named Mr. MacDonald
12/11/2008 Corrected Form I-17 petition (Count One)
2/10/2009 Three articulation agreements (Count Fourteen)
2/17/2009 City Council hearing 4455 Stoneridge appeal - it's a tutoring operation again
2/21/2009 Email chain (Su) recruiting university students (Counts Two and Fifteen)

and so on.

This makes no sense.

For those that also want to read the story because it is missing in action on the Pleasanton Weekly site, it is available on the San Ramon Express website, also managed by Embarcadero Media.

Here is the San Ramon Express link to the Visa Fraud conviction story Web Link

[I'm sure the Pleasanton Weekly will lock this story almost immediately to those that have log on accounts only. Nice way to censor news items]
