What's happening at former TGIF

Original post made by liz on Mar 21, 2014

I drove by the other day and saw a notice on the window for a pending alcohol license. Anybody know what is going in there?

I thought the plan was for a new CVS pharmacy

My cousin is a restaurant inspector and says it's going to be a liquor store which also sells packaged goods.

That's nice. So what's the difference between that proposal and the 7-11 proposal by valero wanting to sell beer and wine. Where's the logic?

another liquor store?

Can someone from the city please confirm this? I too saw the liquor license in the window and heard it was going to be another restaurant. Kind of too large to be a liquor store wouldn't you think? and why would a restaurant inspector be at at store?
