REPULSIVE CONVICTED SHOPLIFTER IS BACK
Original post made by Michael Austin on Mar 7, 2014
Hayashi's news release said the UFW President Arturo Rodriguez wrote that Hayashi's actions "have demonstrated a strong commitment to the farmworker movement and help improve the lives of farmworkers. We hold you in the highest regard and consider you to be an individual with platinum status in the eyes of farmworkers."
I want to believe that President Rodriguez is not referring to Hayashi's shoplifting actions that is motivating the farmworkers to improve their lives.
Hayashi is running for the Senate seat held by Ellen Corbett, Democrat from San Leandro, who is terming out. Other candidates are Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, A Fremont Democrat, Roman Reed, another Fremont democrat, and a Republican Peter Kuo, from Santa Clara.
Hayashi finance reports filed show that Hayashi has $734,000 in her campaign account and no outstanding debts. Wieckowski has about $125,000 in the bank and debt of $32,000, Reed has about $49,000 after lending his campaign $40,000, and Kuo has $24,000, including a $5000 loan from his own pocket.
Hayashi did not provide a status update regarding her brain tumor, which may or may not have impacted her excursion two years ago at the Neiman Marcus store.
I certainly will be out working to counter her campaign war chest to help the nearest rival to defeat her in this election, be it Republican or Democrat.
