It is good that she was found. The bad thing about treating a simple runaway ("she left willingly . . . . .") as seriously as a stranger abduction is that people eventually get burned out at the level of panic and hype. I hope it never gets to the point where we hear of a real abduction and simply say, "just another teenager running away for the drama of it all". Her parents need to spend some serious time getting her under control before the entire community gets sucked into another panic over her wandering off.

My suggestion is family counseling as well as individual therapy for the teen.

Good luck.

runaway - I think the parent's time has passed. the happy return will be short-lived.

Runaway....I am sure there is more to this story that you are unaware of. There are protocols which determine the status of a missing individual.....perhaps you could google that and deepen your brain pool.

Thanks God (whatever that is) that Ana is safe. There's nothing else to say.

You know what. This is a tight knit family. I know them. They are hard workers for some of you that can't appreciate what hard work means. Thank god she is home safe, no matter the situation. Every family has it's issues. Shame on you 2late. Thank god she was not found dead or raped somewhere!!!!! STOP the judging!!!!
