Why is Cody so Special? II

Original post made by Mike on Jul 31, 2013

This young boy may be a lost cause, but his youth implores us to do what we can to help him develop into a responsible member of society.

He didn't get to this point by himself. He is a product of his environment, an environment we are all a part of and help to shape, and something went wrong. We have to ask what went wrong and how we can correct it to help him and to help prevent future tragedies.

I think about 15-20 years in the pen should be a good place to start his re-education.

What is it you ate planning to do? Will you go read the Bible to Cody in prison? I'm curious to know if your walk matches your talk.

If you feel Bible reading would contribute to a solution, you might wish to pursue it. If it helps, please let us know. We'll spread the word.

Implore... is a fine word selection, Mike. "We have to ask what went wrong" Of course, unless your kidding, you may be giving most of today's society, too much credit to even ask. There are many young people who provide out of character signs, to,friends and never receive the help they need to manage they see it...even when they are doing the right thing. Their own uncertainty, lacks the social skills to communicate that need.
