High density low income housing off of Martin Avenue

Original post made by Andreas, Mohr Elementary School, on May 14, 2013

I received a notification in the mail about potential development of land east of Martin Avenue which the city owns. 235 acres is currently zoned for residential. My neighbor said that the city plans on buidling high density, low income, collapsable buildings on the property to meet a lawsuit settlement of some sort. I do not care about the building there but with Stoneridge going through, traffic for Mohr Elementary, and now this it is going to be true gridlock.

Does anyone have the facts on this issue?

Well Cholo it looks like the homes off of Mohr and Market will be high density stackable units and 30% by law have to be low income taxpayer subsidized so you will get your wish. The Pleasanton of the future will look like Livermore.

Nothing wrong with Livermore! I'm a realtor here and we are getting plenty of white flight from Pleasanton. Seems the Asian families are pushing up the house prices.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
