Am I the only one bothered about no news on the 3 recent deaths in Pleasanton?

Original post made by Lisa, Foothill High School, on Jul 2, 2012

I was driving home on Dublin Canyon road today to avoid 580 traffic and I couldn't help but think of the girl found in the trash can when I passed the sign for the "preserve" neighborhood. This girl or woman deserves to be talked about so maybe we can figure out who she is if the police don't already know. If the police keep it in the news, one small detail may be all it takes to identify her so they can figure out what happened to her.

And then the case of the middle school girl and her mom hasn't been talked about in some time either. Was it a double murder or a murder/suicide?

This community deserves answers. If PPD doesn't have the expertise to handle these types of cases then they should bring in outside resources AND keep the stories current in the news so maybe someone can offer information to help. It's not a bad thing that we live in a community where things like this are so rare that maybe our own police department doesn't have the appropriate experience. That's actually a good thing. I just hope they don't let their pride get in the way and not use ALL resources available to them.

RIP to all three victims.

@lisa. Ive been thinking the same thing. As a community we deserve answers. The victims deserve answers to their killings. By now all the test results should be back on the mother/daughter killings.

The union has its thumb on everything. How can we trust any police deportment that is filled with union corruption?

enough already with the incessant, mindless left wing sarcasm. Get a life, a hobby, or just get outdoors. You add nothing to any topic.

When you have a police department with a union that cares more about affirmative action then JUSTICE we can expect them to go out of there way to unleash 'troll be gone' under cut patriots at taxpayer expanse. Until Obama our lard and SAVIOR is sent back to Kenya there will be more crime and more corrupt unions looking ascanze.

I've been wondering the same thing. Not sure if the community or the PPD wants to talk about it. This is the type of stuff no one wants to say can happen in Pleasanton.

I think that undoubtedly the girl found on the side of the road needs a voice in the system. I had so hoped that it would be a big deal to someone in the PPD as the Jane Doe case in Castro Valley was to some detectives in the Alameda County Sheriff's office. They went above and beyond to find out who she was. This girl deserves better than to be known as the girl found on the side of a road in a trash can... no matter where she is from. She was a daughter, maybe a sister and possibly a mother. I am sure somewhere someone is missing her and feeling helpless not knowing why she has not communicated with them.

The last article I read blamed the slowness on the cases on the Sheriff...way to go PPD.

If Pleasanton Police Officers were to spend time solving actual crimes, there would be no time left for them to talk obessesively about their retirement at age 50 at 100 % pay, healthcare benefits for life and fully trained at taxpayer expense to get another job as a peace officer or bodyguard. So stop talking about murder and suicide. The PPD don't play that game, homey. Real crime is contracted out to other departments. But you'd better not roll through a stop sign at 4 AM or they will go all "Dirty Harry" on you.

"The victims deserve an answer to their killings. By now all the test results should be back on the mother/daughter killings."

Amen to that. And speaking of blessings and closure for family and friends, the question that has been raised here before but never answered is: has there been any memorial service or burial for this mother and daughter, or is that still on hold because "test results are not back yet"? How very sad, if that is the case...

It don't take a rocket scienctist to figure out what is happening. First, we experienced a massif influcks of union goons during the Walmart struggle. Second, then the murders. Third, then a union police force more worried about there pensiones then uncovering facts that may be detramental to Obama Administration. Fourth, we live in a community obessessed with liberal media. Conclusion, therefor is that a massif coverup is taking place.

Every time there is an article about the [lack of any] progress in the two pending Pleasanton open murder investigations, I notice two problems. One, the police are said to be "still waiting" on crime lab tests. No other work is mentioned. Second, whomever is doing the [so-called] "news" article fails to grill for any additional information. This is a failure of both the media and the police. It leads to the impression that the police are sitting on their hands, failing to adequately investigate the most serious crimes to occur here in many years, and the "media" is completely failing to bring us any information other than what is written on the press release. We deserve better. I certainly hope that the police are working harder on these cases than it seems they are.
