It is sad that someone like Huntsman, who is a highly intelligent, experienced moderate conservative, gets zero respect. He is what the country needs not another polarizing figure who will create gridlock and get nothing done.

The only anecdote to saving this country from this Marxist Democrat Party is conservatism. Period.

Not a milktoast moderate like Huntsman who has similar views of McCain. How did that McCain candidacy work out for us last election? It resulted in our Jim Jones-like Presidency of Obama.

To "disagree",

John Huntsman is a conservative and has basic differences with John McCain on government management of the economy. (Did McCain even understand the economy?)

disagree, you wouldn't know a Marxist if they looked you in the eye. Using your logic, then I should refer to the Republicans as Nazis GOP.

Anyway, moving on, I think John Huntsman would make a good president. The problem is that he has too much common sense for the extremist element of the Republican party. They want to throw bombs not talk about how to rationally think things through.

dublinmike, this can't possibly be your first go-round watching the presidential vetting process. The candidates are doing exactly what the press and the Dems want them to---bicker amongst themselves instead of focusing on the matter at hand--presenting alternatives to the failed record of the current WH occupier. There will always ben bombs thrown-it's the nature of politics and always has been, like it or not.
It's nearing the time for the R's to start lobbing the bombs in the right direction, to help get the country back on track.

Disagree...As Huntman would say your attitude is the problem in this country. If people do not like Obama and his policies then get a candidate with some common sense and vote him out.You do not need to make all these ridiculous statements about Obama being a marxist, blah blah blah. All you are doing is driving the people in the middle to vote for Obama because you are coming across as fools.Whether you want to believe it or not,Palin,Perry,Bachman and their ilk have strengthened Obama because of their rhetoric and lack of substance.

'strengthened Obama'? As evidenced by today's poll of 41%approval of his performance? Once the dust settles and the debates start between Obama and the republican nominee, it will be very telling to see the pres explain his record, especially his first two years with a dem majority. Bet he will appear really strong then......
